Crystal Clear: The Meaning Behind Crystals

The future is crystal clear, they say and maybe, with the right stone in your hand, it actually starts to feel that way.

My brother’s room is full of them. And for me, there is no better way to spend money than on crystals. Because unlike most things you buy, a crystal comes with something extra. A meaning, an intention and an energy that gives back to you what you put into it. I always carry one with me. Always. Back when I used to go to yogaclass, we were sometimes allowed to choose a stone for a special occasion or birthday. I still use those same stones today — each one for whatever situation calls for it. I believe in whispering your intentions into a crystal. In holding it, focusing your energy and letting it hold that intention for you.

Moon Reset

And then there is the full moon ritual. Placing your crystals under the moonlight to recharge them. Or cleansing them with salt, sage or palo santo. It sounds almost magical, because honestly it is. You become so focused, so intentional. And in that focus, something in you resets too.
